How to Request Access Restriction for Your Own Posts
Submit your request at Request Access Restriction for Your Own Posts, attaching all required documents in accordance with the Required Attachments section. If the form is incomplete, for example due to missing documents, the request may not be accepted. Receipt and processing of a request takes up to 5 business days(excluding weekends·public holidays).
In accordance with the Korea Communications Commission's Guidelines on the Right to Request Access Restriction for One's Own Internet Posts, Postype guarantees users the right to request that others be restricted from accessing posts they themselves have published on the internet. When a request for access restriction to one's own posts is received, Postype verifies that the post in question was created by the requester and then restricts access to the channel. Under applicable law, if a requester requests access restriction for another person's channel without legitimate authority, the requester must compensate for all damages arising therefrom. Submission of an access restriction request is deemed consent to the above obligation to compensate.
Postype does not retain users' personal information other than their email address. Therefore, if you claim that a post on an account you cannot log in to is your own, action can be taken only where it can be confirmed from the post itself that the requester is the same person. If it is difficult to determine from the request alone that the requester is the author of the post, additional supporting materials may be requested, and if the evidence is insufficient, the access restriction request may be rejected.
If, after comprehensive consideration of the supporting materials submitted by the requester, it is reasonably determined that the post is the user's own post, the original post will be completely deleted and will no longer appear in search results.
