How to Report Copyright Infringement
Fill in the Report form faithfully, then submit it with the Required Attachments section followed and all required documents attached. If the form is incomplete, for example due to missing documents, the report may not be accepted. Receipt and processing of a report takes up to 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
As a platform operator that brokers content transactions, Postype is unable to make legal determinations, and the sanction that follows a report (forced unpublishing of the post for 30 days) constitutes a temporary measure. Please note that all procedures after the end of the temporary measure period follow an agreement between the parties or the lawful requests for cooperation, recommendations, and rulings of the relevant investigative, arbitration, or judicial authorities. However, depending on the case, the following measures may be taken in addition to the temporary measure: Level 3 - permanent unpublishing of the post (republishing not possible), Level 4 - channel suspension, and Level 5 - account ban.
Postype receives and processes reports of posts that may infringe rights in accordance with Article 103 of the Copyright Act and Article 44 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Under applicable law, where another person's copyright is infringed, we are obligated to immediately suspend the reproduction and transmission of the work and to notify the rights claimant and the person reproducing and transmitting it. The publisher of the post will be notified of ① the reporter's name (business name) and ② the reason for the report together with notice of the measure. If a request to suspend the reproduction and transmission of a post is made without legitimate authority, the requester must compensate for all damages arising therefrom. Submission of a rights infringement report is deemed consent to all of the above.
