If you submit a report form by referring to the Guide to Reporting Copyright Infringement, the report will be rejected or processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends·public holidays) at most.
If the report is processed, the reported post is forcibly unpublished for 30 days as a temporary measure and cannot be arbitrarily reinstated before that period has elapsed. At the same time as the post is unpublished, the publisher of the post is notified of the reporter's name (business name) and the reason for the report.
If the post was published under the publisher's legitimate rights and does not infringe the rights of others, the publisher may request resumption of the reproduction and transmission of the post.
All procedures after the end of the unpublishing period (30 days) follow an agreement between the parties or the lawful requests for cooperation, recommendations, and rulings of the relevant investigative, arbitration, or judicial authorities. If there is no further request, the unpublishing is automatically lifted once the unpublishing period has elapsed, and no further action can be taken against the same post. The publisher may republish the post that was unpublished by the temporary measure.
However, depending on the case, the following measures may be taken in addition to the temporary measure: Level 3 - permanent unpublishing of the post (republishing not possible), Level 4 - channel suspension, and Level 5 - account ban. For details, please refer to the Content Policy.
